PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy seeks to conclude more fruitful cooperation with the health authorities in Alexandria. It also works to provide accredited bodies to train pharmacy students in the hospitals of the Ministry of Health. In this context, Dr. Amira Tahio, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, visited PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy, to see the Faculty’s special equipment.

Mrs. Tahio was received by Prof. Dr. Maged Al-Ghazouly, Dean, who took her on a tour inside the Faculty. She visited the advanced research laboratories in the Faculty, such as the drug control laboratories, drug factory, drug and toxin laboratories, Nano-technology laboratory, clinical and model pharmacy halls, medicinal plants and extracts laboratories, and the advanced chemical analysis laboratories. The guest expressed her admiration of how well-equipped the labs are, and how this is reflected on the educational process, students and graduates.
