Mission
The Translation Center is committed to contributing and participating in the advancement of the translation movement to and from the Arabic language and functionalizing the technical aspect in it, according to accurate standards in order to ensure the quality of translation and accreditation to make the university able to compete and keep abreast of scientific and technological developments with high quality to channel it into serving the community and its needs in various different fields.
Vision
The Translation Center at Pharos University in Alexandria seeks to provide high-quality and accurate translations of documents and texts from and into Arabic, which improves the professional performance of translation and functionalizes the technological aspect in it, which leads to closer ties and cultural and academic exchange with civil society institutions and academic bodies in the field of community activity, and achieves sustainable development both professionally and socially.
Objectives
The Translation Center
- To cooperate with the university in carrying out its mission in various professional and research fields in a way that helps to solve real problems inside and outside the university.
- To strengthen the ties and cultural and scientific exchange with other community and academic bodies in the field of community activity.
- To contribute to advancing the translation movement to and from the Arabic language.
- To create a cultural, professional and academic environment that provides students with opportunities for self-development, and furnishes students and graduates with hands-on experiences through training and preparing them for community service.
