Magda El-Awady

Academic coordinator

Biography:

Magda is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts, English Department, Linguistics and Translation Section, Alexandria University. She is a CELTA-certified English language teacher with a strong commitment to communicative, learner-centred, and research-informed approaches to language teaching and learning.

In her current role as Academic Coordinator at the ELC, Magda is involved in academic planning, course development and evaluation, assessment design, and supporting teachers in delivering effective, student-centred learning experiences. She also contributes to the Centre’s professional development activities and teacher training initiatives, including the organisation of webinars and professional development events for English language educators.

Magda has been a member of the English Language Centre (ELC) at Pharos University in Alexandria since July 2014.
