Together toward green innovation for a sustainable future in Egypt

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026, under the Horizon Europe framework (Call reference: HORIZON-MSCA-2026-PF-01), represent one of the European Union’s most prestigious and well-funded research mobility programmes. The fellowships aim to support outstanding PhD holders of any nationality in advancing their research careers through advanced training, innovation, and international mobility.

These fellowships enable researchers to acquire new skills by conducting international, interdisciplinary, and inter-sectoral research projects in both academic and non-academic institutions.

Types of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships

European Postdoctoral Fellowships
Open to researchers of any nationality wishing to move to Europe or within Europe to implement a research project.
Duration: 12–24 months.

Global Postdoctoral Fellowships
Open to European nationals or long-term residents in Europe.
Include an outgoing phase of 12–24 months in a non-associated Third Country, followed by a mandatory 12-month return phase in Europe.

Application Conditions

Applications must be jointly submitted by the researcher and the host institution, which may be academic or non-academic. Projects may be hosted in EU Member States, Horizon Europe Associated Countries, or Third Countries depending on the fellowship type.
