Strategic Partnerships
As the ABPS Research School is in its formation phase, we are prioritizing framework agreements with nearby academic and innovation anchors in Alexandria. Our immediate collaboration map includes the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, the City of Scientific Research & Technological Applications (SRTA City), and the Egypt-Japan University of Science & Technology (E-JUST)—all within the Alexandria innovation corridor and aligned with our Bioscreening and Preclinical focus.
These agreements will support co-supervised projects, shared facilities (central labs), joint workshops, and translational studies spanning fermented bioactives, natural products, nanobiotechnology-enabled screening, and disease-model evaluation.
International Cooperation
Building on Prof. Doaa Ghareeb’s multi-institutional collaborations, ABPS will pursue MoUs with national and international labs and programs that intersect bioscreening, sustainable bioprocessing, and preclinical models, leveraging E-JUST’s and SRTA City’s project pipelines.
Community & Industry Engagement
Located in a governorate that hosts ~40% of Egypt’s industrial activity, ABPS is uniquely positioned to convert laboratory outputs into pilot-scale solutions with manufacturers in the Borg El Arab/Amreya industrial zones (pharma, food, chemicals, materials). Our engagement plan includes: contract research, bioassay & preclinical testing services, green extraction/fermentation trials, etc.
Coming soon: a public registry of agreements and joint calls for visiting researchers and industry‑sponsored projects.
