TWAS-DFG Cooperation Visits Programme – Research Visits to Germany
The German Research Foundation (DFG), in cooperation with TWAS, invites early-career researchers from eligible MENA countries (including Egypt) to spend three months at a German research institution for scientific collaboration.
Funding includes
- Monthly support up to €2,350 (accommodation & visa)
- Travel reimbursement up to €1,350
- Additional project funding up to €700/month for the host
Eligibility
- Must hold a research position in an eligible country
- Minimum 5 years engagement in the science system
- PhD obtained in 2021 or later (extensions possible)
- No established collaboration with the intended host
