In the light of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management’ concern in preparing distinguished graduates able to compete in the labor market, the students of the Hotel Management Department visited the Grand Plaza Hotel.  This visit was held on Saturday, 14 November 2020. The visit included a tour in the food and beverage department as an application for the course of the “Principles of Food Selection Preparation”. During the tour, the students were acquainted with the food cycle in the hotels starting from the stage of receiving and storing to preparation stage and food service. They also checked the room division (front office and internal supervision) as an application for the course of the “Room Division Management” in order to get acquainted with the booking, accommodation and departure procedures and the most important forms used. It is worth mentioning that the students expressed their admiration for the visit and the hotel management.
