Neil Al-Amal’s Congenital Anomalies Integrated Care Congress

 

PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy seeks to achieve community and academic involvement, and interaction with community service institutions such as Neil Al-Amal Charitable Hospital.

In response to the kind invitation of the hospital’s Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, participated in Neil Al-Amal’s Congenital Anomalies Integrated Care Congress, held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The Congress tackled topics related to healthcare provided to children with congenital anomalies, and identified the ideal methods for providing care to this category of children, whether therapeutically and surgically, using with self-resources and community participation.

On the first day, Gen. Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Qonsowa, President of Alexandria University, gave speeches in which they expressed their pride in the development that has occurred in health care for this group of children. In addition they recognized the State’s support for such efforts that aim to serve society, develop the environment, and provide distinguished health care based on the highest quality standards and international scientific guidelines.
