The Construction Engineering and Management Department, under the supervision of the Dean, organized an academic forum entitled “Designing undergraduate engineering courses that meet the requirements of the labor market: Experience of the University of Wolverhampton.”

 

This forum was part of the activities of the Going Global Partnerships “GGP” Program funded by the British Council for the joint project between the University of Wolverhampton in England and Pharos University in Egypt titled “Advancing Apprenticeship Learning in Trans-National Education (TNE)”.

 

Further, the forum witnessed societal and academic participation from faculty members of Egyptian universities, members of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, as well as representatives of industries related to civil engineering. PUA team included Prof. Dr. Hamdi Afifi, Head of Department, Dr. Essam Fouad, Dr. Diaa Seif, as representatives of the Construction Engineering and Management Department.

 

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Gaber Abu Ali, Dean, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naim, Vice Dean, Dr. Nourhan Al-Haridy, International Relations Coordinator, Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mennatallah Juweed, PUA’s International Relations Coordinator. While the University of Wolverhampton’s team consisted of:
