PUA’s Faculty of Engineering spares no efforts in developing and updating its academic programs to keep pace with the great changes that the world is witnessing in the fields of technology, digitization, and the Industry 4.0. In this context, the Faculty has developed an integrated system for undergraduate graduation projects for the current academic year 2022/2023. This is in order to meet the needs of the labor market, by adopting serious solutions to industrial problems, and ensuring the achievement of a high academic level for a graduate capable of continuous learning and innovation.

Accordingly, the Faculty administration held a seminar in cooperation with the Engineers Syndicate in Alexandria under the title “Granting Technical and Financial Support for Engineering Graduation Projects”. During this seminar, Dr. Hassan Lotfy, Chairman of the Syndicate’s Graduation Projects Grant Management Committee, explained the mechanism of progression and the opportunities available to students. The grant comes as a fruitful cooperation between the Syndicate and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, which aims to link academic projects with modern research points and industry problems. Hence, it leads to an increase in employment opportunities for graduates in the regional and international labor markets.

The seminar witnessed a large attendance of senior students, who exchanged effective and fruitful discussions. At the conclusion of the seminar, the Dean thanked Dr. Hassan Lutfi for his tremendous efforts.
