PUA’s Faculty of Engineering relentlessly seeks to link academic studies with the labor market. It also pays close attention to its graduates by supporting ways to communicate with them as one of the requirements of the PUA’s strategic plan. Accordingly, the Faculty’s job fair team held the 1st job fair in AY 2023/2024. This fair aimed to support employment, and professional and skills qualification for male and female graduates.
During the fair, PUA’s President praised the job fair organized by the Faculty, and the innovation, creativity, and opportunities it provides, through involving companies and institutions working in different and new engineering and technological fields. He also explained that this fair provides great benefits to PUA, students, graduates, and society.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, however, indicated that this fair truly reflects PUA’s keenness to provide training opportunities for students, prepare them for the labor market, and help graduates seeking job opportunities.
On the sidelines of the fair, an exhibition of specialized companies, industrial bodies and institutions participating in the forum was opened. The exhibition included a variety of events, programs, and activities, including a job and entrepreneurship fair, training courses, and development workshops that focused on entrepreneurship, marketing, secrets of success at work, and many specialized topics in all engineering fields. It also included lectures presented by a group of experts and officials from major local and international companies.
