Student Seminar in the Mechanical Engineering Department

The Mechanical Engineering Department, PUA’s Faculty of Engineering pays great attention to increasing knowledge about graduation projects and the labor market. For this purpose, the Department organized, in partnership with the student branch, (IMechE PUA Student Chapter), a seminar entitled “How they did it? successful graduation projects”.

Eng. Ahmad Allah Atef, Eng. Omar Mohamed, Eng. Muhammad Maher, Eng. Mazen Amr, and Eng. Mohammed Osama participated in lecturing in the seminar. They received many awards, including the first place award from the Engineers Syndicate for the project (Monitoring and Control of the Performance and Stability of a Numerically Machining Router). In addition to an award in the innovation incentive competition for the project (Sustainable 3D printer with an integrated direct mm filament extruder).

The seminar also spoke about the success story of the students, how their graduation projects were distinguished, and ways to obtain financial funding for their projects. Many questions and interventions to answer students’ inquiries were also present. At the end, the Dean thanked the lecturers of this valuable seminar, and gave them certificates of honor in appreciation of their efforts.
