As part of PUA’s student activities programs, the Faculty of Arts and Design organized a workshop titled “Simulating Interior Spaces by Manually Rendering Different Sectors.” This workshop was delivered by Salma Al-Khalai and Dr. Maya Farid, Lecturers in the Décor Department.

The workshop aimed to equip students with innovative techniques in watercolor painting and to master the depiction of various architectural rendering elements, including trees, paving, glass, rocks, sky, furnishing units, and different materials. Despite the advancements in digital coloring and architectural rendering through various software, manual coloring remains indispensable. The workshop emphasized that manual rendering is crucial for both engineering and other projects, highlighting its unique value compared to electronic methods.
