Field visit to Hospital 57357

4^th year students of PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy organized a field visit to the Children’s Cancer Hospital. The visit aimed to learn about the practical applications of what they studied in the hospital pharmacy and oncology management courses.

In addition, through the visit, the students learned about the daily routine in the hospital, the role of clinical pharmacists, and visited the Personalized Medication Unit, Drug Information Center, and Rowa Pharmacy Robot. Also, an interview with conducted with Dr. Ibrahim Abdo, who is the 1^st clinical operations pharmacist. Dr. Abdo introduced the students to the significant roles of the clinical pharmacist in the Hospital’s various departments.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their pleasure with the valuable information they learned during that visit, wishing to become one-day active members of society.
