A Visit to National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

In pursuance of developing their the imaginative and creative abilities, students of the fourth year (seventh semester) at the Architectural Department conducted a field visit to Cairo to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Al Fustat, as well as the Children’s Civilization and Creativity Center in Heliopolis. This visit came within the activities of the Architectural Design Course 5 – EA411.

This visit was under the supervision of faculty members: Asst. Prof. Dr. Mona Mohamed Naguib, Dr. Nadia Samir, Dr. Heidi Shehata, along with a group of teaching assistants.

The visit aimed to expand the students’ awareness and develop their knowledge of the design and construction fundamentals related to the design of museums in terms of exhibition halls of all kinds, different spaces, as well as their facilities.
