Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, PUA’s President, with the support and supervision of Prof. Dr. Howayda Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, the Faculty of Mass Communication organized auditions for the students applying to join PUA Radio.

The Panel included Dr. Tamer Sukkar, assistant professor, Radio and Television Department, Prof. Hatem Qinawy, former correspondent for dmc and CBC channels, Ms. Doaa Hijazi, and Mr. Ahmed Fouad, assistant lecturers, Radio and Television Department.

The auditions witnessed a great interaction by the students, which was admired by Mr. Hatem Kenawy, who praised their proficiency in radio presentation, including presenting news broadcast, radio drama, and radio programs.

In addition, Kinawy gave many important advices to students to help them with their dream of accessing important broadcasting platforms. He also highlighted the correct features needed to form the skills of a successful journalist.

These auditions marked the launch of PUA Radio, which is produced within the Faculty’s studios and presented by students as part of the PUA’s quest to develop their practical capabilities in line with the media job market.
