The Graphic Department held an orientation session for students of the preparatory year at the Faculty of Arts and Design. The session aimed to introduce the students to the Department’s majors, courses, graduate specifications, job title, job opportunities in the Egyptian labor market, and the technical skills acquired from studying in the Department.

In addition, the session discussed the importance of graphic design in everyday life. It also included several presentations, including a presentation entitled “What If?” which explained the importance of graphic design in our lives, and what would happen without it.

A second presentation was held showing the importance of designing a corporate visual identity, and its impact on marketing. Further, a third presentation demonstrated the role of graphic design in the field of Health and Safety, while a fourth presentation entitled “I Didn’t Know” demonstrated the technical and creative skills acquired by the student while studying graphic design. A fifth show entitled “Know Us Right” in which the student presented her graduation project.
