A Field Visit to Forsan International School

In a bid to link the theoretical and practical sides of the academic study, the Architectural Engineering Department at PUA’s Faculty of Engineering paid a field visit to the Forsan International School and Kindergarten in Smouha (FIS). This visit came within the Architectural Design course (2^nd Level) for sophomore students (4^th semester). The students were welcomed by Mr. Wesam Al Ameer, FIS’ Administrative Director.

FIS is often seen as one of the best examples in which students can identify – on the ground – the basic spaces of the kindergarten building, attached spaces, and other services. The students were also given the chance to take the measurements of these various spaces.
