The English Language Department organized a competition for the students entitled “Alexandria through our Lens” as an application of the course of “Comparative Literature”. It was held on Wednesday, 18 November 2020 in room (D-312). Students photographed the city of Alexandria and selected the most important What has been said about it by different international writers. the winner of this competition was Nada Akram, a student in the English Language Department. It is worth mentioning that the panel of judges included:

• Sahar Hamouda, the Faculty Dean.
• Assistant Professor Amr El Zawawi, the Acting Head of the English Language Department.
• Dr. Silvia Elias, a lecturer of Comparative Literature in the department.
