Within the framework of the keenness of Pharos University to cope with the country’s digital transformation and the latest methods in the education field, the faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences participated in the 9th edition of the “ICT in Our Lives” Conference which was held in Bibliotheca Alexandrina from 21 to 25 December 2019. This conference was launched under the CIPIEE agreement which was signed by several parties, including Alexandria University, Pharos University represented in the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Center (CDEC), Senghor University, the French University in Egypt, the Centre of issuing the International Business Driving License (IBDL) and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Alexandria affiliated to the Francophone University Association (L’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie) (AUF).

This conference aims to present what is new in the applications of information and communication technology in all fields including education, marketing, engineering, geology, medicine and other fields. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Mohamed Hamad Dr. Sally Raouf and Dr. Rodaina Abd El Salam participated in a workshop entitled “The Development and Management of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC)” that covered the applications of technology and communication in the field of distance education. Moreover, Dr. Sally Raouf and Dr. Rodaina Abd El Salam presented a research paper entitled “A Proposed Model for Measuring Egyptian Consumer’s Intention to Use Aggregate Services/Shopping Mobile App” that addressed the idea of measuring the Egyptian consumer’s intention to use mobile applications. It is worth mentioning that the faculty’s participation in this conference was managed under the supervision of Prof. Tarek Taha, the faculty Dean, in cooperation with the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Center (CDEC).
