Under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Hana Yassin, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nahla El-Deeb, Acting Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Artist/ Hassan Wasfi, Head of the Fine Artists Syndicate in Alexandria, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nermeen Gomaa, Assistant Professor and Acting Head of the in the Photography Department, inaugurated the Educational Director Exhibition.

 

It was held at the Syndicate’s headquarters in Alexandria with a view to display the artworks of Students of the Photography Department for the Academic Year 2021-2022. These artworks are the outcome of all the practical courses that students studied in the drawing and painting program and the mural design program in the department.

 

The paintings varied between landscape paintings, portraiture paintings, still life paintings, abstract paintings, and cubism. This indicates the diversity of materials used such as oil and acrylic colors, mosaic, and marble. In addition, other outstanding 3D artworks were displayed.

 

During the inauguration, the Syndicate Head praised the numerous artistic talents of the Faculty of Art and Design. He expressed his admiration for the exhibits, students’ designs, and the efforts exerted in producing them. He also stressed the Faculty’s constant keenness to encourage the creativity of its students
