The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, in collaboration with the Scientific and Technological Committee that is affiliated with to the Student Activities Department, organized a seminar on human rights and the attitudes of the responsible tourist on Tuesday, 10 December 2019. The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dina Wahiba who teaches the Human Rights Course and Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Raaouf, a lecturer at the Tourism Department and the Head of the Scientific and Technological Committee and Ms. Amal Abou El Dahab. The seminar included presentations about the most prominent figures in the field of human rights and the responsible behaviour of the tourist. Also information leaflets relating to the same fields were distributed among attendees. This was held in the presence of Prof Mona Barkat, the Dean of the faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, faculty members, teaching assistants and a large number of students from different academic classes. At the end of the seminar, photos were taken for memory’s sake.
