Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (April 1452-May 1519) was an encyclopedic of the Renaissance. He was an engineer, a painter, map-maker, botanist, geologist, musician, sculptor, an architect and a famous Italian scientist. He was a talented genius of the Renaissance, and he has embodied the spirit of his entire era, which led to the discovery of different models of expression in the various fields of arts and knowledge. He is a distinguished genius; an icon of the Renaissance. Leonardo was often described as a man with “wild curiosity” and a “feverish creative imagination”. His most important paintings were: The Last Supper, Mona Lisa and Virgin of the Rocks.
