Amani started her clinical pharmacy career after graduation from faculty of Pharmacy Alexandria University in 1996. Before working as a hospital pharmacist in Ministry of Health, she attended a one-year training program in clinical pharmacy in 1996 she also attended the first international workshop in clinical pharmacy in 2000. She took a biochemical analysis diploma in 2001 then PharmD degree in 2008.
After joining faculty of Pharmacy Pharos University in September 2008, she collaborated in designing interactive simulation and computer-based pharmacy practice courses. She visited Cork University In 2011 as part of a staff exchange program. She had training in health governance in 2013, a master’s degree (2016), then a PHD degree (2022) in bioinformatics and medical statistics from Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University. She participated in teaching Evidence based, Biostatistics and Pharmacoeconomics courses.
