A delegation of Pharos University attended the 16^th conference of the Egyptian Society of Experimental Biology (ESEB) that was held on Sunday, 23 February 2020 at the Conference Hall of Cairo University. This participation came under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud Mohy El Din, the President of Pharos University; Prof. Ezzat Hassan, the Dean of the faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology and Prof. Mervat Ossman, the Vice Dean and the Head of the Science Committee of the faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology. The delegation was comprised of a large number of the students of the Medical Laboratory Department and a panel of faculty members, including Prof. Eman Taha- the faculty of Dentistry; Dr. Howayda Fadel, a Lecturer of Medical Chemistry at the faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology and Dr. Hesham Kamal, a Lecturer of Organic Chemistry at the faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Howayda Fadel presented a scientific research in the conference dubbed “The Insecticides as Etiological Risk Factors of Liver Inflammation and Cancer”. This participation had a very good impact on the students and inspired them to constantly participate in such major scientific events.
