Using Eco-Friendly Products
PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in collaboration with the Green Pharos Committee at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, held a workshop titled “Importance of Using Eco-Friendly Products” as part of PUA’s third environmental campaign. The workshop aimed to raise student awareness regarding the necessity of shifting toward sustainable consumption and highlighted the role of green products in protecting natural resources and reducing pollution levels.
The sessions covered fundamental topics, including the definition of eco-friendly products and their direct impact on public health, alongside showcasing practical models for integrating sustainable solutions into daily life and the tourism and hospitality sector. The event witnessed significant engagement through open discussions and awareness activities that reinforced responsible environmental behavior among students. This workshop is part of a series of initiatives adopted by CSED to promote a culture of sustainability within the university community, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals and PUA’s vision for a cleaner environment.
