Tourism Hosts Experts from Dublin and Málaga Universities

PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management experienced an exceptional academic week, hosting two prominent academic experts from prestigious European universities simultaneously: Dr. Gereva Hackett from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), Ireland, and Dr. Lázaro Florido Benítez from the University of Málaga, Spain.

During this activity-filled week, both guests engaged extensively with the academic community through a series of distinguished events. These included high-level welcoming meetings, campus tours, inspiring lectures, and practical student workshops. The experts contributed to strengthening strategic communication with faculty leadership and staff, actively participated in the Faculty’s “Cross-culture Day,” and engaged in cultural field visits that enriched the overall educational experience.

The outcomes of the visit transcended traditional knowledge exchange, extending to direct and pivotal contributions to updating and developing academic curricula. This collaboration embodies the concept of global applied learning and elevates the quality of educational outputs to align with international standards. The Faculty administration expressed its sincere gratitude to the esteemed guests and everyone who contributed to the success of this remarkable week, which marks a strategic step toward enhancing international cooperation and academic openness.
