A delegation of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, headed by Prof. Mona Barakat, the faculty Dean, participated in the activities of the 12^th edition of the International Conference on Tourism, Hospitality and Heritage which was hosted by Fayoum University in collaboration with the University of Salento- Italy on                  27-29 February 2020 at Norias Resort at El Fayoum City. It is worth mentioning that the conference panel honoured Prof. Mona Barakat as being the Head of the judging panel of many of the conference sessions as well as a member of the committee that assesses the researches presented for the best research paper award. Very honourable also to announce that Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Raaouf and Dr. Tamer El Sawy who are lecturers at the Tourism Department presented a joint research entitled “Measuring the Impact of User-generated Content on Digital Transformation of Tourism and Travel Services: Evidence from the Egyptian Travel Agencies”. Ms. Amal Abou El Dahab, an assistant lecturer at the Tourism Department, also submitted a research dubbed “The Fourth-generation Cities in Egypt: Al-Alamein City and New Potentials for Tourism Industry”.
