In the framework of measuring students’ skills, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management held a practical exam on “Principles of Food Selection, Preparation and Evaluation” course on Tuesday, 2 March 2021. This exam was held for the third-year students of the Hotel Management Department. It is worth mentioning that the judge panel was comprised of Prof. Mohamed Nasar, Prof. Eslam Fathy and Chef. Mahmoud Abd El Moniem, Pastry Chef at Grand Plaza Hotel. The students were evaluated on preparing various pastries from international cuisines taking into consideration all precautionary measures. The judge panel praised the students and their distinguish pastries’ preparation and decoration.
