Showcasing Senior Executives’ Market Experiences
PUA’s Faculty of Engineering held an extensive and interactive student conference featuring broad participation from the student body. This initiative activates PUA’s vision centered on linking academic engineering with labor market requirements, while enhancing the professional skills and technical expertise of scholars and graduates.
The conference witnessed a high-level attendance including the University Vice Presidents, the Faculty Dean, faculty members, and teaching assistants, alongside a numerous engineering students. The sessions hosted an elite group of chief executive officers and entrepreneurs from major industrial and engineering corporations, who shared their inspiring professional journeys from their early beginnings to assuming leadership positions. The speakers reviewed the key technical and managerial challenges they encountered and how they overcame them through flexibility and scientific methodologies, highlighting the package of soft and technical skills that enabled them to achieve distinction in their practical careers.
The conference hall drew wide engagement from the students, who were keen to pose insightful questions regarding modern shifts in the engineering labor market, optimal mechanisms for self-development, and pathways to building successful, sustainable career tracks post-graduation.
