Public Speaking and Content Creation

Driven by PUA’s commitment to holistic student development, the Faculty of Languages and Translation hosted a specialized training workshop under the auspices of the Student Activities Department. The event aimed to enhance student skills in communication, public speaking, and time management. PUA continues to prepare qualified graduates capable of expressing ideas with confidence and professionalism.

The session focused on structuring and presenting public content for the globally recognized TEDx platform. Eng. Mai Etman served as the keynote instructor, offering practical guidance to refine students’ content formulation skills. The training covered topic selection, logical information structuring, and audience-targeted presentation techniques. Students also gained insights into TEDx standards for sharing impactful ideas.

Furthermore, the workshop emphasized public speaking as an essential academic and professional capability. Training modules addressed self-confidence, vocal projection, body language, visual eye contact, and strategies for managing performance anxiety. Time management received dedicated attention, guiding participants to allocate presentation time effectively and adhere to time limits to ensure clear message delivery.
