PUA Participates in EGX Opening Trading Sessions

Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) participated in the opening trading sessions of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in Cairo. The event was held as part of World Investor Week and Global Financial Literacy Week activities, in collaboration with the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE).

The high-profile event was officially opened by the Minister of Finance alongside the Executive Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange. Presidents and leaders from several Egyptian public and private universities attended the sessions. PUA was represented in this prestigious event by Prof. Dr. Tarek Taha. Dean of PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences.

This participation aligns with PUA’s strategic commitment to advancing financial literacy and investment awareness among undergraduate students. By connecting students directly with capital market operations, PUA prepares future graduates to actively engage with the national economy and meet modern job market demands.
