Professor Pierre Dillenbourg Visits PUA
In alignment with PUA’s direction toward supporting digital transformation and enhancing innovation in higher education, the International Relations Department invited Professor Pierre Dillenbourg, Professor of Learning Technologies at the Federal School of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland (EPFL), to visit PUA. This visit holds significant weight given EPFL’s global prestige, which is ranked 22nd worldwide.
The visit featured specialized workshops for faculty members across various departments, focusing on the latest global trends in integrating Artificial Intelligence into the educational process. These workshops aimed to evolve traditional teaching methods and enhance the quality of educational outcomes to meet digital-age demands.
In addition, the visit’s program included a scientific lecture for postgraduate students, reviewing advanced AI applications in education and scientific research. The professor presented practical models for utilizing digital tools to support academic production, opening new horizons for developing scientific research and improving researcher efficiency.
The professor also met with the Board of Trustees, PUA’s President, and Vice Presidents in a high-level session, discussing key trends in educational innovation and the role of technology in enhancing the competitiveness of academic institutions. This event embodies PUA’s extensive commitment to expanding international cooperation and leveraging global expertise to support its strategy toward excellence and innovation.
