Financial Sciences Visits Hospital 57357

Based on the mission of PUA’s Community Service Center to support noble humanitarian initiatives, the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences had a special visit to the Children’s Cancer Hospital (57357). This initiative reflects PUA’s ongoing commitment to bringing joy to the hearts of young patients and instilling a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among its student body.

The visit featured a variety of interactive events and entertainment activities in which faculty students participated with great enthusiasm. They were keen to spend quality time with the children, bringing smiles to their faces in a warm, humanitarian atmosphere. These activities contributed significantly to providing psychological support to the children, helping them face the challenges of illness with a spirit of hope and optimism.

In addition to the entertainment aspect, the initiative included providing financial and in-kind donations to support the hospital in fulfilling its noble mission. Students also took an introductory tour of the hospital to learn about the latest medical facilities and services provided. They were educated on various donation mechanisms and the importance of highlighting the hospital’s role in treating pediatric cancer free of charge, which enhances students’ awareness of national community service.

This initiative underscores PUA’s commitment to building a well-rounded student character that combines academic excellence with humanitarian awareness. These visits are an essential part of PUA’s strategy to develop a spirit of active citizenship among students and prepare a generation capable of giving and participating in achieving sustainable development goals and Egypt’s future vision.
