Pharos University signs a cooperation protocol with Rubex
As part of Pharos University in Alexandria’s strategy to strengthen partnerships with industrial institutions and support applied scientific research, the university signed a joint cooperation protocol with Robex International. The agreement aims to enhance scientific, research, and training collaboration between both parties, contributing to the preparation of qualified professionals capable of meeting labor market demands and supporting industrial development.
The protocol seeks to strengthen scientific and research cooperation through the implementation of joint applied research projects, the exchange of technical and scientific expertise, and the provision of training and qualification opportunities for students and researchers. It also supports innovation and the organization of specialized conferences and workshops in the fields of energy, materials engineering, water treatment, and applied geophysics, contributing to serving industry and promoting sustainable development.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohie El-Din, President of Pharos University in Alexandria, and Eng. Magdy El-Taher, Representative of Robex International. Also in attendance were Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber, Vice President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Naeem, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Dr. Ghada Ragab, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Essam Fouad, Director of the Technical Office at the University; and Dr. Ehsan Nassef, Head of the Petrochemical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering
