Pharos University Achieves a New Accreditation in Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering at Pharos University in Alexandria has announced that its Bachelor’s Program in Petrochemical Engineering has been granted accreditation by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), in accordance with the Authority’s Board of Directors decision issued on May 20, 2026.
This accreditation represents a significant milestone that reflects Pharos University’s commitment to implementing quality assurance standards and achieving academic excellence. It also highlights the University’s ongoing efforts to develop its educational programs in line with labor market demands and nationally and internationally recognized academic standards.
Prof. Dr. Norhan Fanaki, Supervisor of the University Quality Assurance Center, stated that the program’s accreditation is the culmination of the continuous efforts exerted by the University administration, the Faculty of Engineering, faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and students to enhance the quality of the educational process and foster an academic environment that supports innovation and excellence.
