PUA’s Faculty of Mass Communication organized 1st stage of the Faculty’s talent competition. It was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, PUA’s President, Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abu El-Ela, Vice President for Environmental Service and Community Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Huwaida Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication. It was also organized by “For Fun” family, and supervised by Dr. Noha Al-Asdoudi, Lecturer, Public Relations and Marketing Communications Department.

 

The students presented various talents during the competition, including, singing, television presenting, rap, and stand-up comedy. These talents astonished the faculty members and teaching assistants. Further, Prof. Dr. Howaida Mustafa stated that the Faculty is rich its distinguished talents, which can be positively utilized to improve public taste through distinctive arts. She also stated that the Faculty pays great attention to discovering young talents and supporting their artistic potentials.

 

The competition was attended by Dr. Tamer Sukkar, Assistant Professor, Radio and Television Department, Dr. Maged Al-Manzalawi, Faculty’s student activities coordinator, and Dr. Hussein Abu Omar, Lecturer, Public Relations and Marketing Communications Department. The organization of the event was supervised by T. A. Noha Al-Lamsi, T. A. Samar Alaa, T. A. Amani Hamadeh, T. A. Marwa Abdel-Rahim, Public Relations and Marketing Communications, along with Mr. Mohamed Gaber, Faculty’s media coordinator. It is also worth noting that the second day will witness the presentation of the qualified talents from 1st stage.
