Health Sciences’ CSC Participates in the Orientation Day

The Community Service Center (CSC) at PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology, participated in the faculty’s Orientation Day to welcome incoming students. This initiative aligns with PUA’s mission to introduce social responsibility and civic engagement from the very beginning of the academic journey. The Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, emphasized that introducing community service centers during orientation provides an essential opportunity to familiarize new students with environmental initiatives and social participation, reiterating PUA’s commitment to enabling student involvement in projects that build personal skills and enhance societal impact.

Dr. Ahmed Salah El-Din, member of the faculty’s Community Service Center, delivered an address highlighting CSC’s role in encouraging student engagement in community initiatives. He detailed the various programs and opportunities available for students to participate in community development and environmental preservation, pointing out that field service forms an integral component of an applied health science education.

CSC’s active participation reflects PUA’s strategy to integrate social responsibility into the holistic university experience, empowering students to become active partners in serving their community and supporting sustainable development.
