Environmental Preservation Workshop
Consolidating a culture of sustainability and reinforcing environmental responsibility among students, PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation held a workshop titled “How to Preserve the Environment”. The session was delivered by Dr. Mennatallah El-Moshirfy, researcher at the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, as part of PUA’s Community Service Center (CSED) efforts to spread environmental awareness and encourage eco-friendly practices.
The workshop addressed the vital importance of environmental protection as a shared responsibility, highlighting daily practices that reduce pollution, rationalize resource consumption, and minimize waste generation. Dr. El-Moshirfy encouraged students to adopt positive habits that safeguard the environment and preserve natural resources. Furthermore, the workshop aimed to heighten student understanding of their role in achieving environmental sustainability, motivating active participation in spreading eco-awareness both on and off campus to build a society conscious of environmental challenges.
This event falls within CSED’s continuous endeavors to champion awareness initiatives supporting sustainable development goals. Further, PUA remains committed to preparing a generation capable of assuming its responsibilities toward the environment and society.
