Drug Awareness Campaign
In line with PUA’s commitment to raising health awareness and embedding preventive practices among its student body, the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology launched a comprehensive awareness campaign on the dangers of substance abuse. The initiative was launched through the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) to protect student health and encourage positive, healthy behaviors.
The campaign addressed the critical physical, psychological, and social risks associated with drug addiction, highlighting its detrimental impacts on cognitive function, bodily systems, and daily life productivity. Program sessions emphasized the vital importance of prevention, resisting peer pressure, and seeking professional guidance and medical support when needed.
This initiative underscores the ongoing dedication of CSED’s to implementing impactful educational activities that protect public health. PUA continues to strengthen its community role by cultivating an informed, healthy student environment equipped to address social and health challenges effectively.
