Celebrating Tourism’s Outstanding Students
In recognition of student dedication and academic achievement, PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) hosted an awards ceremony honoring distinguished students at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, reinforcing the university’s commitment to supporting scientific excellence and fostering creativity.
In his address, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, emphasized that honoring top achievers reflects PUA’s dedication to motivating students toward continuous innovation. He noted that the Excellence Courses initiative serves as a vital step in embedding healthy academic competition and discovering promising student leaders, highlighting the integration of academic learning with community outreach to build qualified graduates.
This ceremony falls within PUA’s Excellence Courses policy, an innovative framework where faculty specialists designate one course per semester, recognizing the top ten students earning an A or A+ grade for university honors. PUA continues to promote academic distinction, inspiring students toward professional excellence and sustainable community contribution.
