Celebrating Art and Design’s Outstanding Students
In line with Pharos University in Alexandria’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and fostering student creativity, the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) hosted a recognition ceremony to honor outstanding students at the Faculty of Arts and Design. The event was attended by faculty members and proud parents who gathered to celebrate their children’s accomplishments.
In his address, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, expressed his pride in the high-achieving students, emphasizing that academic excellence stems from diligence and ambition. Further, he highlighted the university’s commitment to providing an inspiring learning environment that encourages innovation, urging students to utilize their artistic and academic abilities to build promising professional careers that serve society.
This ceremony falls within PUA’s Excellence Courses policy, an innovative framework where faculty specialists designate one course per semester, recognizing the top ten students earning an A or A+ grade for university honors. Through this initiative, CSED reinforces its dedication to empowering qualified graduates who contribute to sustainable development, aligning higher education with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Egypt Vision 2030.
