Best Presentation for Traditional Foods

PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management hosted a competition for the “Best Presentation” on traditional foods and their preparation methods, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. The event aimed to highlight traditional culinary heritage and link it with students’ academic skills and professional presentation abilities.

The competition saw broad participation from various academic levels, with students delivering innovative presentations on diverse traditional dishes. They provided detailed explanations of ingredients and cooking methods using a scientific approach that meets hotel quality standards. The use of professional food photography added a distinct visual character to the presentations, reflecting the students’ ability to integrate technology into defining tourism and food identity.

This competition falls within the faculty’s commitment to developing students’ presentation and communication skills, encouraging them to research culinary arts as an essential part of tourism attraction. Such activities contribute to refining the student’s professional personality and preparing them for the labor market by combining theoretical knowledge with the ability to present it in creative and engaging ways.
