Anti-Smoking and Drug Awareness Campaign
Continuing its ongoing mission to promote environmental and health literacy, and as part of its 4th Green Pharos Campaign, PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology conducted a comprehensive awareness campaign on the hazards of smoking and substance abuse. This initiative reflects the strategic efforts of the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) to enhance health culture and promote positive behaviors among students.
The campaign aimed to educate students on the severe physical, psychological, and social risks associated with smoking and drug addiction, highlighting their direct negative impacts on individual well-being and overall quality of life. The sessions emphasized the importance of preventive decision-making and healthy lifestyle choices, contributing to building a well-informed generation capable of safeguarding itself and the wider community.
This initiative underscores CSED’s commitment to supporting public health outreach and preventive awareness programs. PUA continues to encourage students to adopt healthy, sustainable lifestyles in alignment with global sustainable development goals.
