Virtual Reality in Molecular Modeling Workshop

PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy hosted its second workshop on the sidelines of the 4th PUA International Conference. This workshop was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Maged Al-Ghazouly, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Chairman of the Conference, and Prof. Dr. Rasha Shaalan, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Secretary-General of the Conference. The workshop focused on the application of virtual reality in molecular modeling, in collaboration with the Francophone agency, which generously provided two visual reality oculi for training.

The workshop was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amjad Al-Bohi, Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the British University in Cairo, along with faculty members and teaching assistants from PUA, Alexandria University, and the German University in Cairo. The session utilized various applications, notably the Nanome Application, to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding and practical experience of virtual reality in the field of molecular modeling. Participants found the interactive demonstration and insightful explanations to be highly beneficial.
