Transition to Green Economy and Carbon Reduction
Aligning with PUA’s commitment to advancing sustainable development and climate awareness, the Faculty of Arts and Design launched an academic awareness initiative focusing on the transition toward a green economy and reducing carbon emissions. The initiative aimed to enhance student awareness regarding sustainable design practices and the integration of environmental responsibility into artistic and structural planning.
The academic sessions covered key concepts of green economics, emphasizing carbon footprint reduction through innovative material selection and sustainable design methodologies. Faculty members encouraged students to develop practical design solutions utilizing eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient artistic techniques, fostering creative thinking aligned with global standards for environmental preservation and resource efficiency.
This event underscores the Faculty’s dedication to bridging artistic disciplines with environmental stewardship. By equipping students with sustainable design strategies, PUA continues to prepare forward-thinking creative professionals capable of driving sustainable innovation while preserving natural resources.
