Tourism Department of faculty of tourism and hotel management organized a scientific field visit to Cairo on Tuesday 28/12/2021. The program included visiting the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which is the first museum of its kind in Egypt and the Arab world, as a comprehensive cultural site that displays Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present day. Moreover, the trip includes a visit to the complex of religions in ancient Egypt near the ancient Babylon fortress, which includes Amr ibn Al-Aas Mosque, the Hanging Church, the Ibn Azra Jewish Temple, and a number of other churches. This visit was an important opportunity for the students to get acquainted with the most important archaeological and touristic sites in Egypt, as well as gather information and document all these attractions. Some students grasp the opportunity and conducted a series of interviews with foreign tourists as part of their reports of this scientific visit, after obtaining their approval and willingness to participate.
