Tourism Alumni Gathering
From lecture halls to professional arenas, alumni success stories remain a constant source of inspiration for new generations, serving as a vital bridge between academic knowledge and career requirements. Within this framework, the Alumni Follow-up Committee at PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management hosted a panel session featuring distinguished graduates from the Tourism and Hotel Management departments.
The event hosted three notable alumni, including Youssef Edward, a Hotel Management graduate working in hospitality as a Housekeeping and Facility Attendant at the Four Seasons Hotel San Stefano in Alexandria. Also participating was Mohamed Tarek, a Hotel Management graduate who served as Spa and Recreation Supervisor at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai, following his former role as Spa Team Leader at Palazzo Versace Dubai. Additionally, Salma Emad El-Din Mostafa, a Tourism Department graduate of the Class of 2026, presented her practical training experience in reception and customer service at Tishory Tourism.
During the panel, the alumni shared their professional journeys, career paths, and success stories, offering students first-hand insights into field experience and the challenges encountered throughout their careers while outlining labor market requirements in tourism and hospitality. The session gathered 25 students across various academic cohorts, providing direct interaction with graduates to explore future career prospects in the sector. This initiative aligns with the Alumni Follow-up Committee’s efforts to maintain strong ties with graduates, leveraging their expertise to inspire current students and prepare them for professional careers.
