The College of Financial and Administrative Sciences receives a delegation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom
The Faculty of Finance and Management at Pharos University received a delegation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom, as part of the promotion of academic and professional collaboration.
The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Tariq Taha, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Rajab, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Menna Jawaid, Director of the International Relations Department, Dr. Reham Younis, Director of Quality Management for the International Education Program, and Dr. Maysa Al-Mufti, Coordinator of International Relations.
The meeting discussed the prospects of strategic cooperation between the college and ACCA, with a focus on strengthening academic partnerships, supporting professional development, and providing distinguished pathways for college students to obtain internationally recognized professional qualifications in the field of accounting and finance.
Following the meeting, an introductory session was organized for faculty members and students, during which the delegation reviewed the international professional qualification offered by ACCA, as well as clarified the conditions for enrollment, the mechanism for obtaining membership for graduates of the accounting program, in addition to reviewing the professional advantages provided by this qualification, which include enhancing employment opportunities, obtaining international professional recognition, and acquiring the necessary skills and competencies to work as professional accountants at the global level.
