Arts and Design Continues its Qualification Week
PUA’s Field Training Center (FTC) coordinated the activities of the second day of the Field Training Qualification Week at the Faculty of Arts and Design for the 2025-2026 academic year. The interactive sessions witnessed broad participation and a distinguished presence of experts and representatives from five major external entities and institutions across the decor, marketing communications, advertising, and digital printing sectors, aiming to formulate an applied roadmap integrating academic theories with direct professional reality.
Representatives from Broga Design for Décor and Architecture, Selective Advertising, and Ultimate Group delivered a package of comprehensive orientation sessions, with the active participation of officials from City Print and 101 company. These sessions introduced students to the organizational structures of these firms, the nature of the executive and artistic tasks trainees will practice across various departments, and the specific details of the newly updated summer training programs.
The qualifying lectures focused on two main pillars; the first addressed the fundamental rules and standard criteria for occupational health and safety within industrial and artistic work environments to ensure the protection of students from field hazards. Meanwhile, the second pillar focused on deepening the understanding of professional ethics and codes of conduct, alongside methods for building successful professional networks and executing smart, professional interactions with colleagues and clients, thereby refining students’ soft skills and enhancing their competitive readiness to enter the creative labor market with confidence and merit.
